MIND BODY ENVIRONMENT

Hi, I’m Vero!

Verónica Ordóñez

National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Wellness Coach

LifePower 200-Hour Yoga Teacher

Wellness Coach, Certified Yoga Teacher, and Founder of Three Homes!

I guess you could say I found my way into wellness accidentally and completely on purpose. My journey began through movement and creativity; my involvement in gymnastics, dance, music, literature, and eventually yoga from a young age gave me early outlets for self-regulation and expression, even before I recognized that that’s what they were.

Years later, in the middle of the global COVID-19 pandemic and a personal mental health crisis, I returned to those roots not for performance, but for self-discovery and understanding. Through my personal experience and my collegiate research, I came to understand that the body has its own wisdom, that movement is integral to mental wellbeing, and that wellness is something much more holistic than we’ve made it out to be. It’s an ongoing relationship between three essential pillars, or homes: mind, body, and environment.

MIND: Your mind contains your entire universe, let’s make sure it’s well-nurtured.

BODY: The access point to the mind, how we perceive and make sense of the world around us, and a powerful vessel of knowledge in its own right.

ENVIRONMENT: Not just your physical surroundings but your relationships, socioeconomic situations, sensory stimuli, content intake, and more.

This understanding became the foundation for Three Homes – a space where wellbeing is accessible, inclusive, and grounded in real life. Not a luxury, but a right. My purpose is not to achieve some ideal end state of “well” but to meet you where you are and create supportive environments for your personal exploration and growth. To hold space for your process and guide you along the way to reconnect with yourself, reduce stress, and build a life that feels fulfilling, aligned, and authentic.

Welcome home!

xoxo,

At Three Homes, we believe that wellness is a journey, not a destination…

Our mission is to help you build a more authentic and resilient life, cultivating your three essential homes: mind, body, and environment. We believe that wellbeing emerges when we strengthen these three pillars through the holistic caretaking of our physical and mental health.

We provide the tools, you bring the wisdom. Through personalized coaching sessions, yogic practices, and motivational interviewing, we’ll lean into your personal knowledge, analyze your unique circumstances, and work together to design a path toward a stronger body and more present mindset.

And our focus goes beyond the present moment! We’ll help you develop sustainable, long-lasting habits that will continue to nourish your well-being long after our time together has come to an end.

Let’s get started!

Methodology

My coaching centers around a combination of self-knowledge, empowerment, and strategic action to help you improve your mental wellbeing, manage, stress, and strengthen your physical body.

  • Our sessions are rooted in a techniqued called motivational interviewing, a methodology that encourages collaboration between coach and client and reinforces internal motivation to create behavior change. Motivational interviewing will be used throughout the entirety of the coaching process and is comprised of the following 4 key principles:

  • Active listening and emotional validation to understand your unique life experiences and meet you where you are today. During coaching sessions, I’ll use open-ended questions, reflections, and affirmations to guide you toward making your own confident, informed decisions and commitment to change

  • I’ll help you clearly identify the difference between your current circumstances and your vision of your ideal well-being so that we work to bridge the two together.

  • Above all, I’ll reinforce your self-confidence and trust in your own capacity to create sustainable change.

  • Rather than imposing change onto you, I’ll facilitate your self-exploration to arrive at solutions from your autonomy, not my authority.

  • Depending on your individual wellness goals and needs, we may utilize yoga and stress regulation techniques during sessions. These techniques include mindful movement, meditation, and breathing exercises to improve the mind-body connection and strengthen your emotional resilience to stress
